Service Call for Tyler S

When we went out to Tyler S's house we made sure to send the best technician, Tyler A. Tyler and Tyler got along great and really seemed to understand each other well.

Tyler A was able to explain to Tyler S that his torque master spring system had failed. Unfortunately, this means a full conversion and rebuild for our company, and many others that simply do not install torque masters due to the high failure rate.

A Conversion is basically a full rebuild and includes a new torsion tube, springs, center bearings, end bearings, drums, cables, and rollers. So, not just as simple or cheap as replacing a broken spring.

Sometimes it can be hard for a customer to understand why we can't just replace the spring itself in situations like this. Tyler A, our technician, was able to help Tyler S understand that by doing so he would be ensuring longevity for the rest of the door, and how our spring system has better quality and functionality.

Tyler A also caught that whoever installed the opener on this door had used the wrong J-arm. In doing so they put the top panel at risk for damage. Tyler A explained this to Tyler S as well, letting him know that if we replace it with the right one, it will help protect the top panel and extend the life of the door.

Tyler S was happy to hear this, and as long as he knew these were going to be upgrades and fixes that would help the rest of the door last longer, he was all in!

At the end of the day AW Garage Door puts two things above all else, customer safety and satisfaction!
